Eight onboard computers can monitor oil pressure, transmission torque, engine performance and tire temperature. Their Michelin tires were especially designed for the 797, and cost about $30,000 each.

When a new 797 is delivered, it arrives in pieces aboard 12 semis, including an 850 gallon (or optional 1800 gallon) fuel tank.

The truck needss fuel in huge amounts. It uses average of 65 gallons/hr. And has a fuel economy rating of 0.3 mpg. It works for 24/7 and only stops for maintenance.

Liebherr T282 : Biggest Truck

The Liebherr T 282B is a large earth-hauling dump truck designed by Liebherr, a well known company in mining field, a German manufacturer of heavy equipment, household appliances, microelectronics, car parts, tool machines and aerospace components.

It can carry about 360 tonnes (400 tons) at 64 km/h. It is a two axle truck.

It has a 3650-horsepower (2723-kilowatt) diesel engine which generates power for two electric motors in the rear axles. So it's more like a huge electric railroad locomotive than a conventional truck. Older giant trucks used a DC electrical drive system but this one uses AC, which is more efficient.

There are probably 50 to 75 trucks sold each year worldwide. These big trucks are used in coal mines in Wyoming and Australia, copper mines in Chile, in iron extraction in South Africa and in gold mines in Nevada.

Bagger 288 : World's Biggest Vehicle

Bagger is a bucket wheel excavator. It was built by a German company Krupp for mining process.

It Took 5 years to design and manufacture plus another 5 years to assemble.

Maximum digging speed is 10 cubic meters per minute.

It was constructed in 1978.

It's capacity is 240.000 m³ / day , which means that it can dig a hole the length of a football field to over 25 meters deep in a single day.

It's Length is 240 m (Almost 2.5 football field).

It's height is 96 m.

It's widht is 45 m.

It's weight is 13,500 Tons.

It needs 5 crew members to operate.

Bagger 288 has worked till 2001 in the opencast mine Hambach and drove by itself the 22 km to Garzweiler. The whole trip took three weeks to complete. It has maximum speed of 1/3 miles per hour.

Burj Khalifa : World's Tallest Building

Burj Khalifa, also known as Burj Dubai, is a skyscraper in Dubai. It is the tallest man-made structure ever built. Construction was started on 21 September 2004, with the exterior of the structure completed on 1 October 2009. The building opened on 4 January 2010.

The tower’s architecture and engineering were performed by Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill of Chicago, with Adrian Smith as chief architect, and Bill Baker as chief structural engineer. The primary contractor was Samsung C&T of South Korea.

The total cost for the project was about US$1.5 billion.

The building has about 24,000 windows. It takes 36 workers a total of three to four months to clean the entire outside of the building.

On the outside of the structure, there is a fountain which has over 65,000 lights and a colored projector.

Largest Crocodile

The crocodile named 'Lolong' was caught in Philippines. The villagers started trying to catch it after a fisherman and a girl got missing. The gigantic beast was caught after three week hunt in a creek in Philippines. The villagers got free of the fear of 20 years.

The crocodile was named "Lolong" after one of its captors Ernesto "Lolong" Conate, a Palawan-based crocodile hunter who was part of the team that helped captured the gigantic crocodile but died from heart attack at the course of their mission.

It's length is 21ft. Which is longest alive crocodile.

It's weight is 1,075 Kg (2,270 - pound).

The previous longest crocodile was 5.48 metres long.

Beijing Airport : Largest Airport

The Beijing Airport is one of the most amazing airports built ever. The designers, Sir Norman Foster and partners claims that it is the world’s largest and most advanced airport building.

The airport is very efficient in terms of operations, passenger ease, sustainability and power efficiency. It uses most of the natural light. It has a gigantic terminal built in the shape of the traditional Chinese dragon. It is 17% bigger than London Heathrow airport. It has a total of five floors.

It has three terminals. The terminal 3 cost is around US$4.6 billion. Which was made for 2008 olympics. It is very highly spacious.

The airport is owned and operated by the Beijing Capital International Airport Company Limited, a state-controlled company.

Boeing Everett Factory : World's Biggest Factory

The Boeing Everett Factory, in Everett, Washington, is an airplane assembly building owned by Boeing.

Located on the northeast corner of Paine Field.

It covers 13.3 million cubic meters which makes it worlds largest factory.

The Everett factory is like a small city, requiring its own fire department, security force, fully equipped medical clinic, electrical substations and water treatment plant.

There are about 30,000 people working at the Everett facility, and they work in three shifts around the clock.

The production floor does not have any a/c. The temperature is regulated by two things, the weather outside and the light bulbs. If the factory is too warm, they would open the factory door and run fans to blow air into to the factory. And if it gets too cold, they rely on the light bulbs above the production floor. The factory uses over 1 million light bulbs!

There are twenty six overhead cranes that run a network of 39-miles of ceiling tracks throughout the factory. These ceiling cranes are used to lift and move airplane components and sections during the production process.

There are 1,300 bicycles and tricycles in the factory that is used by employees to get around.

The Abraj Al Bait Towers, when completed, will be the biggest building in the world by mass, it will be the tallest building in Saudi Arabia and one of the tallest buildings in the world.

It will beat the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia which held the title as world’s tallest building between 1998 and 2003.

The Abraj Al Bait Towers will be most notable for its prime location. The site of the structure is across the street from the entrance to the Masjid al Haram, which houses the Kabaa. Which is the holiest site in Islam and the building towards which all Muslims face during prayer.

The Abraj Al Bait Towers will have a large prayer room capable of holding nearly Nine thousand worshippers. It will contain a five-star hotel to help accommodate the over two million pilgrims who participate in hajj each year. It has four story shopping mall and a parking garage for nearly nine thousand vehicles. Residential towers will house permanent residents. It has two helipads.

The clock will be visible from 17 Kms away.

Up to 90,000 people can be housed inside the Towers.

Allure of the Seas is her sister ship. They both holds the record for the largest passenger ship ever constructed.

MS Allure of the Seas is a cruise ship. It is owned and operated by Royal Caribbean International.

Oasis of the Seas is her sister ship. They both holds the record for the largest passenger ship ever constructed. But the Allure is 50 millimetres (2.0 in) longer than the Oasis. So technically it is the largest cruise ship in the world.
